I always kinda smirk at that MasterCard commercial. The guy is decked but trying so hard to look like he just rolled out of bed. He still somehow looks like the rest of the hipsters standing in line for a show. I always wonder if the stylist for this commercial only used Alexander Wang, because it screams it. A. Wang began out of college and created collection after collection of grunge indie style. Now, after winning numerous awards and being in the fashion eye for a couple of years, he is starting a shoe line, a diffusion line, and just opened a new studio space in NYC. The diffusion line, T by Alexander Wang, are draped, loose tee shirts and tanks for a reasonable price. The shoes are edgy but still grunge and also will be considerably reasonably priced, ranging from $125-$250. And the Tribeca Studio is quite impressive with unique furniture pieces and much more space than his previous outpost.
