Cut and Paste
Today Fashionista posted about “complete looks” becoming an editorial layout. I had to agree with the post, I have been really disappointed the past few months with some issues. It’s like editors are cutting and pasting the style from style.com to a grey background. While I don’t mind an entire look, I believe it keeps the designer’s integrity of the collection, show, and the look itself. And I even love keeping things simple. But I do mind the extreme of taking a look straight from runway, with possibly the same model from the runway, and slapping a neutral background behind it. What happened to creativity with fashion features and shoot sets?
